Issue Summary
Racism Defined: prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against a person or people on the basis of their membership in a particular racial or ethnic group, typically one that is a minority or marginalized.

Liberal Position

The Democratic party has a long history of racism which can be seen at this link (Democrat Racist History)  This goes back to when the objected to Abraham Lincoln's attempt to free the slaves and their repeated attempts to block civil rights. Yet they continue to claim they are the all inclusive party.  

Racism is defined to make decisions based on race or specifically going out your way to oppress a particular race.  Obama made decisions for cabinet appointees based on the color of someone's skin and background as opposed to qualifications.  Joe Biden, in his bid for President in 2020, has decided that the most important characteristics for his Vice Presidential Candidate is that the person must be black and they must be a women.  

Under Obama, black family income fell as compared to inflation and black unemployment skyrocketed. Single parent homes for blacks increased under Obama and black on black crime increased.  (Washington Examiner Article).

Joe Biden wants to raise taxes, which results in less jobs that disproporationally hurts the black Community.

Job Biden is for illegal immigration and wants to open the borders.  This also disproporationally hurts blacks as the illegal immigrants tend to take the jobs away from Blacks more than any other group.  

Joe Biden is leaning on the side of Defunding the police and 81% of Black families want more police in their neigborhood.  

Joe Biden was against busing and was attacked viciously by Kamala Harris in the Democratic Debates this year. 

Joe also support one of the KKK leaders and called him a mentor and a friend.  Check out this video.

Conservative Position

Conservatives believe in equal opportunity for all, regardless of skin color.  Abraham Lincoln was the first Republican President and he freed the slaves.  For over 100 years conservatives have been fighting for equal rights for the individual regardless of skin color.  

Under President Trump he passed landmark legislation including:

  • The First Step Act, the crime reform bill that let non violent criminals out of jail and back into their communities and families.
  • Trump also funded more for black colleges than any other president in history. 
  • Jobs - Trump created more jobs for blacks to get to the lowest unemployment in history.  And the wages of blacks also increased more than any other group.
  • Welfare and food stamps - with the increased jobs, there was less on food stamps.

Trump support locking down the Mexico border, to help protect the jobs for Blacks. He has also appointed more black men and women to positions than any other president in history.
